In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Navy Board has informed the Admiralty that the LUCAS Galley has been hired as a Sixth Rate and that she should have a complement of sixty men and be armed with sixteen sakers. Approval is given for her to be fitted out by her owners and to be victualled for three months service in the Channel.
