In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to cause the Accommodations for the Commanders and Officers in the third Rate Ships of eighty Guns now building, or which will be built, pursuant to the Act of Parliament, to be made in such manner as they are in the BOYNE.
Whereas Complaint has been made that several of their Majesties' ships are over Masted to the prejudice of their sailing and working, we further direct you to make diligent enquiry into this, and where you find any Ships over Masted, cause their Masts to be changed or altered as you think most fitting.
