In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The owners of the Ship SUN, now at Plymouth, have informed us that they are willing that this Ship should be employed in their Majesties' service, and that she is 75 ft by the Keel and 24 ft by the Beam.
Direct you to cause the Ship to be carefully surveyed as soon as possible, and to report your opinion whether she is fitting to be a Man of War, and if so, what number of Men, and number and nature of Guns, will be proper for her.
