In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We directed you on September 1st to cause Cables, Anchors and Chains, as specified, to be provided for such of their Majesties ships as are designed for particular services.
Direct you to cause such part of the said Stores to be provided at Portsmouth as can be possibly had at that place, and that the remainder be sent about thither with all dispatch.
You are already directed to cause two of the Ketches that are Tenders on the Great Ships now come into the River Medway, to come up to the Crane at Greenwich for taking in stores for the Bomb vessels.
Direct you now give Orders for another of the Ketches which tend on these ships to come up to that place.
