In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Pursuant to her Majesties pleasure signified to this Board by the Rt. Hon. Sir John Trenchard, a Principal Secretary of State, we direct you to send us an Account what Ships of the Main Fleets must necessarily go into the Dock, what Ships can keep the sea without repairs this Winter until the first of January, and what Ships can keep the sea with repairs to be done to them without coming into Dock, and in what time the said repairs may be dispatched.
Direct you cause the same to be taken in hand as soon as possible.
Also order the Commissioners for Victualling to take care that the Men of War at Kinsale be immediately supplied with Beer, her Majesty having informed the Victuallers that the Port has refused to do this, so that the Seamen there have been forced to drink Water.
