In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In explanation to what is desired by the Victualling Commissioners in a letter to you of the 15th inst; concerning our former Orders for Victualling the Ships and vessels named in the margin, which are appointed for a particular service, we direct you to cause such of the ships that have not already two months Victuals on board to be completed to that proportion as soon as possible, and that the six 4th and four 5th rates be Victualled for thirty men each above the highest complement.
We further direct you to cause the said Ships and vessels to be furnished with such Necessaries as the Service may require, and as shall be demanded by Captain Benbow, Master Attendant of the Deptford Yard.
