In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Direct you to cause the ST. ALBANS and the HUNTER and JOSEPH Fireships to be cleaned and refitted for Service in the Channel, the former at Plymouth and the other two at Portsmouth, where they now are, and that the ST. ALBANS be victualled for three months, and that the HUNTER and JOSEPH for four months each.
You are likewise to cause the SALAMANDER Bomb Vessel (now at Spithead ) to be put into a condition for Sea as soon as possible, according to our former Orders.
