In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Direct you to cause the hired Hospital Ships SOCIETY, BRISTOL and SYAM (which are ordered up to Longreach) to be forthwith surveyed to see if they are fitting to be employed as Men of War in their Majesties' service, and if they are, in what time they may be fitted for that Service, and report to this Board as soon as possible.
