Document signed by James Southerne, Secretary to the Admiralty, fl. 1690-1694

In order to answer the request of the Hon. Commissioners for stating the Public Accounts of the Kingdom, lately signified to this Office, I am, by command of the Admiralty Commissioners, desiring you to prepare and send as soon as possible a List of the names of such Vessels which were employed as Tenders in 1691 and 1692, with an account of the number of Men and Guns allowed to each of them.
