In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of her Majesty's pleasure, signified to this Board by the Rt. Hon. Sir John Trenchard, a Principal Secretary of State, we direct you to cause the new Shallops to be fitted out to sea as soon as possible.
Also that the four new Bomb vessels, FIREDRAKE, GRANADO, MORTAR and SERPENT be fitted out for Channel service with all dispatch, and manned with the Complement established for them, and Victualled for two months or as much as they can conveniently stow.
Also Cables, Anchors and Chains as detailed to be got ready for particular service as required.
