Mr Robert Gaselee, Storekeeper of the Plymouth Yard went by our Order to Hythe in Kent to prosecute two persons for altering a Protection granted by this Board, and from there came here to give an account of the proceedings.
Your letter of the 8th inst; represented to us that you think it reasonable he should be allowed ten shillings a day while on this Service, according as is usually allowed to the Yard Officers when they are employed on any Service abroad. Direct you to make him the said allowance accordingly.
