The petitioner has served for 29 years in the service of the Navy and has passed through all of the offices of trust qualifying him for Commissioner. Having received notice of discontinuation of his office as Commissioner, he pleads that it is too late at his age to find other employment and to support his seven children. He asks that he might be considered for some other employment or be granted such other allowances as have been made in like cases.
