In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You have informed that you have agreed with Mr Dalton and Mr Gardner, Shipwrights living at Redruth, to build a Fireship of the same dimensions as those last built, and upon the same terms as to prices and payments, and to launch her before the 1st of March next, and also with Mr Hayden, a Shipwright, to build a like Fireship on the same terms, and to launch her by the 14th March next.
We signify our approval.
We further direct you to to turn over the Officers and Company of the MONTAGUE (excepting the Standing Officers) to the new Ship TORBAY, and those belonging to the RUPERT to be turned over to the CANTERBURY.
Also cause all dispatch be made in the repair and fitting to Sea of the MONTAGUE and RUPERT.
