In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Navy Board are enclosing a letter from the Earl of Danby proposing the launching of the ROYAL WILLIAM in the Spring, to have her masts taken out and docking her again for girdling so that the DUKE may succeed the LONDON and the KATHERINE Hulk the DUKE next Spring. Instructions are given for the vessels to be refitted in that order provided they can be dealt with in the time proposed. As regards the girdling of the ROYAL WILLIAM reference is made to instructions sent yesterday.
