In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to sign a Bill on the Treasurer of the Navy for paying to Thomas Neale, Master of their Majesties' Mint, the sum of sixty pounds for enabling him to provide a Medal and Chain of that value for Captain Robert Stephens, late Commander of the VINE Packet, as a reward for his good service in defending her from the Enemy.
You are to cause the said Bill to be assigned for payment out of the Moneys which are or shall be received by the Navy Treasurer, of the Tenths of Prizes appointed by a late Act of Parliament for Medals and other rewards for Officers, Mariners and Seamen in their Majesties' Service at sea.
