In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Navy Board has reported that the new Sixth Rate building in Deptford Dockyard will be ready for launching in three days time. Orders are given for her to be launched accordingly and to carry the name JERSEY. She is to be fitted for sea and provided with a full complement of men as well as being victualled for three months service in the Channel.
