John Maplesden, Purser of the NORWICH has been lost, together with his ship in the West Indies. Captain Lawrence Wright meanwhile has certified that during the time Maplesden was Muster Master of that Squadron he conducted several musters; but the books he sent home were lost with the SCIPIO. Instructions are given for the payment of his wages to his executrix for the time he served in his various appointments.
