In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The widow of Captain Thomas Gillam is to be paid the wages due to him for his time in St.ALBANS which was lost off the coast of Ireland. The letter cautions that if Captain Gillam had received the men's wages but not distributed them by the time the ship was lost the money is to be deducted from the payment to be made to his widow.
