In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have ordered Captain Constable, Commander of the SHOREHAM, (ready to launch at that place), to go down there and carry with him what Men he can, who promises to go away on Monday next with ten or twelve men.
We shall this night also send Orders to the Captain of the HUMBER to send away a Lieutenant and ten Seamen to Shoreham, to assist in looking after and rigging the Ship when launched.
We direct you to cause the Ship to be launched when the Commander and these Men arrive to take charge of her, and that you cause them to be paid Conduct Money to Shoreham according to Navy practice, and victualled there.
