In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
A French ship, the LA BUSSELL, has run aground on the Goodwin Sands and has been seized by the Officers of the Conque Ports. The Warden, Lord Sydney, is hoping to get something for her and the Board is asked to state her value at the time she was taken into HM Service.
