In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of the directions of Sir John Trenchard, Principal Secretary of State, you are to cause the SOCIETY and ANGEL (which are now in Mr Snelgrove's Yard), to be fitted out as Bomb Vessels to serve in the Fleet this Summer, provided it can be done within a fortnight and without delay to to the fitting of the six others already ordered to be fitted. You are to cause them to be victualled like the rest of the Bomb vessels are ordered for this Summer's expedition.
