In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

You have informed us that the new sixth Rate Ship building at the Portsmouth Yard will be ready to launch on the 7th inst; which we have named the NEWPORT.
We direct you to cause her to be launched at that time, fitted out for service in the Channel, manned with her highest Complement of Men, victualled for three months, and entered on the List of the Royal Navy accordingly.
