In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
His Majesty's Order in Council dated March 29th last directs that a provision of Sea victuals be made for five thousand Men to serve in the Fleet this year, over and above the victuals for thirty thousand Men formerly declared.
We direct you to prepare and present to this Board estimates of the charge of these victuals, and also of the Wages, and Wear and Tear of the said five thousand Men, together with your opinion at what Ports, and by what proportion at each Port, it will best to provide these victuals.
