In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain Fitzpatrick has informed us that when he was removed from command of the ELIZABETH to the SUSSEX, he sent some of the Men which he carried from the ELIZABETH in a Vessel to the Northward to press for the SUSSEX, and that Captain Main, who succeeded him in that Ship, discharged those Men without having them entered on the Sussex's Books.
We are sending enclosed a Copy of his letter, and direct you to cause these Men to be allowed the wages due to them for the time they were employed in pressing Men for the SUSSEX.
