In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The two Fireships being built by Mr Haydon and Mr Ellis in the Thames and at Shoreham are to be established with the same number of men and types of guns usually allowed to firehips, including the Fireship being built by Mr Dalton and Mr Gardner, which is to be named the PHEONIX.
