In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Lady Laton, the Mother of Captain Laton deceased Commander of the HAMPTON COURT, is applying for the re-imbursement of monies laid out by her son for employing men to press men for service in his ship. No accounts can be produced but an affidavit supporting her claim has been provided by Thomas Lock, Deputy Purser of the ship.
