His Majesty has given order for providing a medal and chain to the value of £50, to be given to Mr John Leech, Master of the ship ANNE OF LONDON, as reward for his courageous defending of his ship against a French man-of-war of 26 guns on 29 December 1689, on her return from Jamaica.
