In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
For the greater dispatch in fitting out the 2nd Rate ship lately ted at Portsmouth, you are directed to give orders that she is not new graved, but proceeds to sea with the graving now on her. Notwithstanding our former order for the storeships going Plymouth and Liverpool to proceed to the Downes, you are to direct them to go no further than the Buoy of the Nore. You are to direct that the guard-boats at Chatham are furnished with masts, oars, sails and other necessaries and to be lent to the Deputy Governor of Sheerness for transporting soldiers and other services of the garrison there.
