In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Sir Cloudesley Shovell in his letter of 15 April, advises us that the ships under his command in the Irish Sea, will be in want of provisions in a month's time. On leaving Hoylake he did not know that orders had been given to the victualler's agent at Liverpool to provide for their revictualling and you are directed to order the Commissioners of the Victualling to take care that the victuals declared for that port be in readiness and supplied without delay.
