In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of His Majesty's pleasure, you are directed to have the Dutch man-of-war the HOLLAND, now at Portsmouth, Captain Joel, Commander, to be furnished with a main mast out of the stores and to take a receipt from the Commander for the mast. The agent for the Dutch fleet having promised to deliver into the stores at Portsmouth, a mast of the like dimensions. You are to give order that the Commander may have the convenience of lodging his men and putting his guns, victuals and other necessaries on board the hulk or some other vessel at Portsmouth.
