In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Your letter advised us that upon your attending their Lordships of the Treasury you were told that His Majesty had given commands that the Commissioners of the Victualling should be given £10,000 for victualling, out of the money received by the Treasurer of the Navy of the £400,000 appropriated by the late Act of Parliament for the service of the Navy. You should make immediate payment of the £10,000 to Mr Philip Papillon according to desire of the Commissioners of the Victualling.
