In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Enclosure: Copy of a report listing the Machine vessels at Portsmouth giving the names of their Masters and their defects based upon certificates deposited during 1693. A warning is given that due to the passage of time the vessels will have deteriorated further. Eight vessels are listed by name and advice is given on a further vessel that is no longer fit to serve. The name of the Commander of the flotilla is also given together with advice as to how he may be contacted. Signed W. [Meister], Naval Official.
