In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
An anonymous letter has been forwarded to the Admiralty by The Earl of Nottingham principal Secretary of State in which allegations of embezzlement in the Dockyards at Chatham and Sheerness Yards are made. The Navy Board is to make in depth enquiries and report back to the Admiralty.
