In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Commander of the NEW AFRICA has reported his ship damaged. Her Carpenter has opined that docking will be required. The Board is instructed to survey her at the Nore and to give their opinion as to an appropriate course of action. An extract of the Commander's letter is enclosed.
