In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Queen has decreed that soldiers aboard |HM ships shall receive the same rations as the seamen and that they shall be paid in money for any short allowance of provisions, as are the seamen. Their pay, while at sea, sea shall be made as for land forces.
