In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Fireships HAWK and OWNER'S LOVE are to be paid off at Portsmouth. They are to be repaired and fitted for sea however, but not cleaned. On the reverse the letter is a list of First, Second and Third Rate ships destined for the main fleet next summer. The list contains the names of thirty-eight ships as well as mentioning that new ships are being built at Deptford, Harwich and Bursledon.
