In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

In answer to your letter of yesterday sent to our Secretary, the French colours to be put on board the KATHERINE yacht are for ships of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th rates, and the signal colours for a ship of the 3rd rate only, wherein the Commander-in-Chief of the squadron proceeds and we have now ordered them to be sent to the PORTLAND at the Buoy of the Nore.
