In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The boat which I at present have is a great hindrance in shifting my main yard when I tack, but also a great charge to the deck and brings my vessel out of trim. I desire their Lordships would be pleased to give me a small Deal yawl which will be altogether as serviceable to me, and I am also in need of oars as I was forced to take fir oars, which break, there being no ash oars available in the Plymouth stores. Signed Captain Phillips, commander of the POST BOY.
