Document signed by Henry Guy, Secretary to the Treasury, 1631-1711.

Having read your letter of 25 May to the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury about Mr Taylour's proposal to import such quantities of hemp this summer as are wanting, their Lordships are of the opinion that this will be for their Majesties' advantage. Mr Taylour should therefore present a calculation of the charge of this hemp and the manner in which the money will be called for. You are directed to speak to Mr Taylour and to present your opinion on his calculation.
