In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Lieutenants Camocke and Adams of the LOYAL MERCHANT Hired ship have written stating that twenty men have continued to be shown on the ship's books after having deserted. The Navy Board is instructed to investigate the matter carefully and to report any other irregularities in the dealings of the Captain before his wages are paid.
