In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Board has informed the Admiralty that it has purchased the SUFFOLK a new Hag Boat of some size to transport masts and stores for the ships of the Mediterranean fleet. The purchase is approved and a request is made for the Board to advise the Admiralty of the number of men required to crew her and the number and nature of guns needed to arm her together with the rating accorded to her.
