In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Are sending enclosed two Inventories of the Ship INVINCIBLE of St Malo, a Prize taken by the WEYMOUTH and DUNKIRK, and of the ENTREPRENANT of Brest, taken by the RUBY.
We direct you to consider whether these Ships will be fitting to be employed as Men of War in their Majesties' service
You are also to arrange a survey of the DOROTHY Prize of about 50 Tons and 8 Guns at Falmouth, and if she is a proper vessel for an Advice Boat. You are to buy her for that purpose, and to solicit the Treasury for Money to do this, giving us an account of what you do.
