Upon consideration of your letter of the 8th inst; we direct you to cause the SYAM and BRISTOL to be fitted and accommodated for Hospital Ships and Storeships, if this can be done for both services.
We direct you to order these Ships, and also the JOSIAH, to be furnished with three or four months Provisions accordingly as you judge proper with regard to their services.
