In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Upon consideration of your letter today we direct you, notwithstanding any former Orders, to cause either the SYAM or BRISTOL, whichever you consider proper for this service, to be fitted as well for a Hospital as a Storeship, and that her Surgeon and crew be continued and furnished with Medicines, Instruments, and Necessaries for that Service abroad.
