In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Sarah Andrews, Widow of James Andrews, late Master of the DOVER, YORK and SUSSEX has presented a Petition to this Board stating that her Husband was removed at sea from one of these Ships to another, giving him no opportunity of delivering into your Office the respective Journals, but that he had them all with him in the SUSSEX when she was cast away, when they, and he, were lost.
We direct you to cause the Wages of James Andrews to be paid to such Persons as shall be lawfully empowered to receive them in case there are no other objections than the want of the Journals.
