I have laid before the Treasury Commissioners your letter of the 13th inst; concerning the disposal of the money received by the Navy Treasurer for the Thirds of the Product of Prizes.
The Commissioners have directed how this money will be distributed in four equal parts.
1. The Commissioner for the Sick and Wounded
2. The Chatham Chest
3. For necessaries put on board for the relief of sick and wounded at sea
4. For bounties to Widows, Children and Parents of slain Seamen
