In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Vice Admiral Hopson has informed us that the DREADNOUGHT and PORTLAND have been forced to go to short allowance of Provisions, the former beginning on the 22nd June last, and the latter on the 16th July, and so continued till yesterday, the Ships having now arrived in the Downs.
We direct you to cause the Seamen to be paid what short allowance money is due to them.
