In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to cause to be provided and got ready with all possible dispatch, to be sent with the first Convoy going to the Straights, a sufficient supply of Winter and Slop clothes for the seamen in the Fleet under the command of Admiral Russell.
You are also to order Captain Willshaw, one of the members of your Board, and one of the Master Attendants at Chatham, together with one of the Commissioners for Victualling, and Mr Stephenson to assist him, to be sent along with the Convoy to the Straights for the speedier dispatch in the refitting of the Fleet there.
