In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to cause the LION at the Buoy of the Nore to be fitted and put into the best condition for Sea as soon as possible in order to attend the King on his passage over to England. In case she has not six weeks Provisions on board you are to order her to be victualled for that time.
The GARLAND, MARIANNA Prize and SALLY ROSE are ordered to the Buoy of the Nore to proceed on the aforesaid service, and their Provisions are to be completed to six weeks if they have not so much already.
The PRUDENCE is designed for the Canaries about the middle of next month. You are to hasten the Owner in her refitting, and cause her to be victualled for four months.
