In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

In obedience to His Majesty's Order in Council of August 15th last we direct you to sign a Bill on the Treasurer of the Navy for paying to Thomas Neal, Master of their Majesties' Mint, the sum of one hundred pounds for enabling him to provide a Medal and chain of that value for Captain Stephen Elliot as a reward to him for his good service in escaping from Petit Guave in a small canoe, and giving notice of the design of the French upon Jamaica.
You are to cause the Bill to be assigned for payment out of the moneys which are or shall be received by the Navy Treasurer for the tenths of Prizes appointed by a late Act of Parliament for medals and other rewards for Officers, Mariners and Seamen in their Majesties' service at Sea.
